Goosebumps! [Ntitled commercial die cutting files collection]

One of the files I contributed to October's Ntitled commercial file membership at That's Scrap Inc was really fun to scrap with photos of my son in costume this Halloween. *grin* I have a bonus file I'll be sending to those who purchase this collection (if you already own it, don't worry...a download link will be ready soon...I have work for the next few days and still need to catch up. When I scrapped this, I added three additional critters to the page, so the additional geese will be joining the flock.) The title is part of the October collection and cuts in three big pieces----one purple, one black, and one orange layer ...with a few extra orange and white parts for the critters, so it isn't a lot of work to assemble.
I used pencils, crystal lacquer and stickles on the lettering to give it depth, and filled each of the "bumps" with a bit of lacquer to make them look glossy. I love the way this page looks! The spider and web are part of the Halloween file I created last year.

Ellen (Ducky's Designs) also has a bonus file to accompany November's Ntitled file collection. The current month features files for Thanksgiving, turkey, wall sentiments, cards, Christmas, holidays at the cabin, birthdays and kids! Please drop by and leave us a note!

Tribute Album Cutter Files for Cancer, Available in AI, KNK, GSD, SVG, EPS and BMP

The Honest Truth -- Unique Tribute Album for Cancer Patient
Available in AI, KNK, GSD, EPS, SVG and 300dpi Bitmap
(C) designed by Scrapbookcircus

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month? This album was an incredible challenge to create...my intent several years ago was to design something to acknowledge this theme from as positive a perspective as possible...and even convey a little humor. While I realize that this is a serious subject, I approached this project keeping these thoughts in mind: A small amount of laughter can take the sting out of the worst situation, and science has proven that a patient with a positive attitude has a better chance of surviving Cancer than one who focuses on fear and despair. If I had to walk this path myself, this is exactly what I would have created to mark my journey.

I created this book by specific request and it has been a few years since I made the original, and recently recreated the design in AI, EPS, KNK, GSD and SVG formats so that it could be cut using a digital die cutter. If you would like to know more about acquiring the file or what's included, please visit That's Scrap Inc to read more about our fundraising effort or donate $25 or more directly to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Email or screenshot proof of your contribution (NO financial details included) to myself or the store and a download link will be emailed to you.

Free Military, Patriotic Cutter File in AI, KNK, GSD, EPS, SVG

Things have been a little hectic around here. I've been preparing classes that I'll be instructing at a fundraiser retreat to support Breast Cancer Awareness at the end of October, working (2 jobs--still not sure how that happened!), and trying to stay awake long enough to finish files that I intended to have uploaded a month ago. Before the rest of my marbles roll away today, I figured that I'd better get this guy posted. It's hard to resist a man in uniform, isn't it?

Download the Military dude here.

You can find the flag, an eagle, frames and several additional files which complement this theme at http://www.thatsscrapinc.com if you're in the mood to play with paper.

Free Nurse cutter file in AI, GSD, KNK, EPS, SVG for SCAL (paper piecing)

The design team at That's Scrap Inc have been collaborating to create a monthly membership of files which feature 20 or more files in AI, GSD, KNK, EPS, and SVG formats. The files in the N'titled Membership carry a license for commercial use, but I've been having a bit of fun combining projects. The scan (left) and files linked below are one of several examples I have to share this week. This layout was inspired by photos shared by a friend---her son wore a cast throughout the summer, but the injury didn't keep him out of the swimming pool! His ingenious Mom invested in one of these SUPER cool waterproof sleeves and saved summer! *grin* (Who even knew these things exist?! What a brilliant idea!!)

The example page above features 3 separate files: The "Indestructible" title and medical elements are part of August's Ntitled file collection which is available for sale at That's Scrap Inc. The "Stitched" or "Laced" background (left) is a separate file which I've used on several occasions for sports pages, Halloween, vintage and general subjects. (It's been surprisingly versatile. LOL!) The enthusiastic Nurse character (shown right) is available for free download separately. The file is provided in AI, GSD, KNK, EPS, and SVG for SCAL formats, as well as a bitmap for digital users or assembly reference. If you share a link in the comments section or upload a picture to any completed project using one of my files (free or purchased), I'll put a second file ($4.99 or less, your choice of any available here) in your mailbox!

Paint Dude - Free Cutter File for Renovating and Home Improvement

While the weather is cooperating, we have a deck to stain! We haven't actually gotten started because it's been TOO hot and we haven't quite figured out how to keep the dog off the surface yet... but I like to be prepared. Whether you're renovating or moving, performing a little home-improvement, sorting BEFORE and AFTER pictures of a painted transformation, or just ready for a change of color...if you have a reason to keep a grinning character with a paint brush hanging around, this file is for you!
Formats include AI, KNK, GSD, SVG (for Cricut with SCAL/ Sure Cuts a Lot), EPS and BMP.
Download the Paint Dude free cutter file here.

The layout I created with this character also features a step ladder, drippy paint overlay in the background and a "wet paint" title...as well as Jolee's accent stickers for the brushes and paint can. If the finished example appeals, the additional files are available for purchase separately at That's Scrap Inc. Happy Friday!~

Beach Pail and Shovel Free Cutter File

It's almost the end of June, school will be out in mere days, the sun is shining and I'm ready to pack one of these and head for a beach!---->
(The peanut gallery behind me has added: Yeah, That's what I'm talkin' about!)
Right, they agree! Even the silly dog "digs" it. (He does NOT yet comprehend that he's not allowed on public beaches...THANK HEAVEN! Even though he is an extremely sanitary shade of white, the canine excavator smelled a lot like the dead crab carcass he found last time we took him to a beach, and he's a conscienceless face-licker. YUCK! I'm also sure that if we let him continue digging, he'd be somewhere near the center of the earth by now. The last thing I want to reinforce with this animal is the concept of digging holes.)
SO! Don't forget the sunscreen...Get your digging tools here and get started:
Download the Beach Pail and Shovel Cutter File

The zip contains an AI8 file (WPC users can choose IMPORT from the file menu, ungroup and have a ready-to-cut image), KNK, SVG (separated by color for SCAL users), GSD (for Graphtec cutters like Wishblade, Silhouette, Craft Robo, etc), and EPS.
Before I forget...the BOGO sale on cutter files has ended at http://www.thatsscrapinc.com. If you purchased files during the sale, you have until the end of the month to claim your free files of equal or lesser value from each respective designer. Thanks for celebrating the one-year anniversary with us!

Buy One Get One Free Cutter Files at Thats Scrap Inc.

The buy one get one (BOGO for text fingers!) free cutter file sale at That's Scrap Inc runs from June 6th-16th, which means there are 4 days left to loot!

I'm still trying to finish a few more files before the sale ends, but my most recent project was a resurrected layout featuring "Beach Babes". It landed in time to enjoy the sunshine and a new pool that I dragged home and filled with water and chlorine last week: It's been BLAZING hot here, and although I don't have a palm tree to lounge under...the climbing rose and a Hawthorn tree have been great substitutes!

If you're interested in the BOGO sale, for every cutter file purchased from ONE designer, you can receive a second file of equal or lesser value free from the SAME designer. Just email your invoice to the participating design team member and let them know which file(s) you'd like to receive free, and they'll be emailed to you. (There's a direct link to each designer's mailbox at the top of their files section. You can find my cutting files lurking under the ID "Scrapbookcircus" at That's Scrap Inc.)

Buy-One-Get-One Free files are NOT be interchangeable between designers---if you purchase one file each from three different designers, you'll need to forward your purchase receipt to three separate designers to request a free file of equal or lesser value from each designer.

A lack of posts here usually means that I'm playing with files instead, so if you keep an eye on the files area...I'm hoping to beat the deadline on the 16th and have another file or two lurking. *grin*
Happy shopping!
